7. Text Messaging (SMS)

Overview. 162 Strategies, LLC offers SMS text messaging to clients and professional contacts who have opted in, for customer-care and account/case-notification purposes related to their matters. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Information we collect. When you opt in, we collect your mobile telephone number and a record of your consent (including the date, time, and method of opt-in). We may also process the content of text messages you send to or receive from us.

How we use it. We use your mobile number solely to send, and respond to, the text messages you have consented to receive — such as case and account updates, scheduling, and related customer-care communications.

No sale or sharing of mobile/SMS information. 162 Strategies does not sell, rent, lease, or share your mobile telephone number, SMS opt-in information, or text-messaging consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information and text-messaging opt-in consent are not shared with any third parties for marketing. We share this information only with the service providers that deliver our messaging service (for example, our messaging platform provider, Telnyx), strictly for the purpose of operating the SMS program, and as required by law; those providers are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

Message frequency and rates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
